2025 YCN Annual General Meeting

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the Annual General Meeting — an amazing mix of age, backgrounds, and interests.

With a broad range in interests, many individuals stepped up to join various newly-formed committees:

  • Volunteer Activities (e.g., Yale Day of Service)

  • Speaker Events (bringing in professors and specialists)

  • Social Events (e.g., Yale Series of Poker, Whiffenpoofs, and Curling, anyone?)

  • Student Recruitment/Support (aiding high school students and current Yalies)

  • Parents Group (of both current and graduated students)

  • Recent Graduates (as of yet, no real hard line drawn on age, but let’s say…Gen Z’ers - we’re lookin’ at you!)

  • Graduate Schools (see more below)

The club is keen to form committees that support networking among Yale’s many graduate schools. Currently we have folks from Schools of Management and Public Health who will spearhead the charge, but we also invite anyone from other graduate programs to reach out to the club!

If you have an idea for a YCN event, don’t worry - you don’t have to go it alone! We’re here to support and work together to make things happen. Just contact us!

Special thanks to the following folks for going above and beyond:

  • David Yeo for organizing the event and doing a fabulous job leading the club

  • Janice Kim for organizing the event and working tirelessly behind the scenes

  • Leslie Asanga for providing the spacious venue

  • Nate Jones for providing the lovely spread you see above
